CARR, Henry H. - Putnam

Roachdale – Henry Harrison Carr, 91-year-old retired farmer died at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Bowles Convalescent Home at Crawfordsville.  He had been in failing health the last two years. He was a native of Milford, Del born Sept 30, 1875 to Willard and Mary Campbell Carr. He was married April 16, 1909 in Newport, Ky to Alyee A. Ritchie, who survives. Mr. Carr was a member of the McArthur, Ohio Presbyterian Church and IOOF Lodge. He farmed most of his life. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Dr. Woodrow E. Carr of Roachdale and Hubert Carr of Detroit; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Blackstone of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Saturday at Perkins Funeral Home with interment in Roachdale cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon and night.  - kbz
