Brazil, Sept 30 – Mrs. Catherine Carr, wife of George Carr, formerly of near Reelsville died very suddenly Friday night of heart trouble at the home at Leavenworth, Kansas at the age of 72 years.  The family resided for many years in western Putnam County south of Reelsville and located at Leavenworth, Kan about four months ago. Mrs. Carr had been enjoying good health and her sudden death was a great shock to the family and friends. The deceased is survived by the husband, one son and three daughters, Charles E. Boling of Whipple, Ohio; Mrs. Stella Mullinix of Reelsville; Mrs. Andrew Crump of Logansport and Mrs. Marie Hutcheson of Reelsville.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, two brothers and a sister, William Rallings (sic) of Cattonwood Falls, Kas; John Rollings (sic) of Reelsville and Mrs. Jane Hapenny of Harmony. There are also four half brothers, Lafe Rollings of East Brazil; James and Mack Rollings of Reelsville and Ben Rolling east of the city. The deceased leaves many friends in this community to mourn her death. She was a member of Reelsville Baptist Church for many years. The remains arrived here this afternoon and were taken to Miller & Son’s Funeral Parlors and this evening will be taken to the home of a daughter, Mrs. AD Mullinix at Reelsville where funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning, Rev. Carl Reeves officiating; interment in Boone Cemetery. – kbz
