CARPENTER, Wilma Dorsett - Putnam

Funeral services will be held in Hall at 2 o’clock this afternoon for Mrs. Wilma Valerie Carpenter, former Indianapolis resident who was shot to death Monday in her home outside of Philadelphia, PA. The body of Mrs. Carpenter arrived in Hall yesterday, the home of her father, William F. Dorsett.  Mrs. Carpenter was born in Cloverdale and lived in Morgan County before coming to Indianapolis.  She lived here about 20 years ago. Later she went to Chicago where she was married and then to Trenton, NJ and Camp Hill, PA near Philadelphia. - kz
