CARPENTER, J. Henry - Putnam

Brazil, Ind – J. Henry Carpenter, 87, formerly of Brazil, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday in Ceder Knoll Nursing Home at Ann Arbor, Mich.  He was a member of the Baptist Church.  Survivors include a son, Fonley, Ann Arbor; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Slattery Boise, Idaho; a sister, Mrs. Mary Job, Muncie and will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Lawson Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl C. Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, near Greencastle. Friends may call after 4 pm. Tuesday. - kz
