CARMICHAEL, Benjamin Franklin - Putnam

Benjamin Franklin CARMICHAEL, 72, died Saturday Feb 26, 1961 in the state hospital, Logansport following an extended illness. Born in 1889, he was the son of William and Francis Grubb Carmichael. He married Delia Wysong and was a school teacher and farmer in the Ferndale area. Survivors include his wife, two sons, Ward of Panama City, Florida and Boyd of Fort Lewis, Washington a brother, Henry Carmichael of Chicago and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wed in McGaughey and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville; burial in Union Chapel Cemetery. -- kbz
