Hon. L. M. Campbell died at his home in Danville, Ind., yesterday afternoon. He was widely known as an able and successful lawyer, and also as a prominent Odd Fellow. He leaves a widow and two daughters, Mrs. T. S. Adams and Miss Cora, who is well known in our city. Mr. Campbell served one term in the Lower House of the Legislature and one term as Senator from Hendricks and Putnam, and was one of the strong men in the councils of the State. Hon. P. S. Kenney, a personal and devoted friend of Mr. Campbell, accompanied by his wife and daughter, Miss Bettie, left this afternoon to be present at the funeral tomorrow.
