CAMPBELL, Herschel L. - Putnam

LADOGA — Herschel L. Campbell, 65, of Rt. 2, Ladoga, died Tuesday afternoon at a neighbor's home at Rt. 2, Ladoga. He was a farmer. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Roachdale Christian Church. Born May 15, 1911, he was a son of Morris and Pearl Hammond Campbell of Putnam County. Survivors are his wife, Marian; two brothers, Glen of Filmore and Olyn of Greencastle; a sister, Mrs. Vera Jean Morrison of Greencastle; and several nieces and nephews. Private services will be Thursday in Rector Funeral Home at Greencastle. Burial will be in the Forrest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.   --waw
