Rolley Cagle of Washington Township died at his residence on Feb 19 from the effects of a relapse of la grippe aged about 60 years. The deceased was one of the well known citizens of this county and his death will be widely mourned by friends and acquaintances. – kbz

Raleigh Cagle died at his residence (Reelsville news item) in South Washington Friday evening Feb 19, at 5 o’clock.  He was about 65 years of age and had resided in that part of the country nearly all his life. Mr. Cagle was noted as a very hard working, energetic farmer, having done an incredible amount of hard work in his time. His wife and five children, all of them married survive him.

Notice is hereby given that the undersigned administrator of the estate of Raughley Cagle, deceased late of Washington Twp, Putnam Co IN will sell at public sale to the highest bidder, the personal property of said estate not taken by the widow at the late residence of the deceased 5 miles south of Reelsville in said county and state on Monday the 28th day of March 1892 – consisting of five head of horses, four head of cattle, corn in the crib, hay in the stack, a two-horse wagon, one buggy, harness, a drop reaper a new mower one sulky breaking plow, cultivator, two-horse wheat drill and other farm tools and implements and also household and kitchen furniture. Terms: All sums under $3 cash in hand; a credit of 9 months will be given on all sum sof $3 and over the purchaser giving note with approved security drawing six per cent, interest after maturity if not paid when due; said notes waiving benefit of valuation and appraisement laws. They were both residents of Reelsville.
