George Busby, a Putnam County farmer died on Monday of rabbit fever, tularemia. Better handle rabbits with gloves.

Tularemia, a disease of rabbits is given as the cause of death of George Busby of Monroe Township. Mr. Busby is said to have had a small cut on one of his hands. He became affected with the disease and his death occured Saturday. He was 66 years of age and leaves the widow and a sister, Mrs. Daniel Gardner, of Greencastle. Private funeral services were held at the Brick Chapel cemetery Sunday afternoon. --- thanks to Marilyn W
