BURTON, James S. - Putnam

James S. Burton, 72, Greencastle, formerly of Indianapolis died Saturday in Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle. A native of Putnam County, he had been an Indianapolis resident several years.  He had been an interstate truck driver for North American Van Lines 22 years, retiring in 1981.  Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, where calling will be from noon Monday until services. Survives, wife Georgia Wall Burton, daughters: Charlotte Kendall, Janet Walker, Jenny Bland; sons: Chuck Walker and Randy Burton. – transcribed by kbz
