BURNS, Cordelia - Putnam

Clay City, Ind April 1 – Mrs. Cordelia B. Burns, 75 years old died at 8:55 o’clock last night at the residence, following an illness of 8 weeks duration.  She is survived by the husband, James L. Burns; a daughter, Miss Verna C. Burns at home; three sons: Ray Burns of Petersburg, Ind and Dane and Dudley Burns, both of Clay City; two sisters, Mrs. Laura A. Brown of Centerpoint and Mrs. Gertrude S. Stray of Columbia City, Ind; a brother, Emery S. Jenkins of Centerpoint; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The body was taken to the Schoppenhorst Funeral Home. - kbz
