BUNTEN, Thomas Benton - Putnam

Thomas Benton Bunten, second son of George C. and Mary E. Bunten, was born Feb 16, 1862 and departed this life March 14, 1885, a victim of consumption, being 23 years, and 25 days old at the time of his decease. The deceased was confined to his room for ten weeks, but only to his bed for a fortnight. He bore all his afflictions without a murmur, and just before expiring called the family and friends to his bedside and bade them a last farewell. The funeral services were conducted at the residence of his father, George C. Bunten and his remains were laid to rest Monday the 16th inst.. In the presence of a large concourse of relatives and friends.
