BROWNING, Virgie - Putnam

Greencastle – Virgie L. Browning, 81, Middletown, Ohio, died Wednesday at Summitville Convalescent following an extended illness.  She was retired from the Butler County school system after 48 years of teaching. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hamilton, Ohio.  She is survived by three sisters, Ruth Watts and Zella Foster, both of Greencastle and Verna Scheidt, Hamilton, Ohio; four nephews including Henly Scott Humprey, Alexandria.  Services were conducted Saturday afternoon at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery. - kbz
