Times-News (Greencastle, Indiana) Wed 6 Dec 1933 p 1
The death of Clair Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Brown of Greencastle occurred in a hospital at Columbus Saturday morning at 120 o’clock from injuries suffered last Sunday night when his automobile was demolished in an accident near the city. Brown suffered a fracture of the skull and other injuries about the head when he lost control of his automobile just south of Columbus as he was enroute home from Louisville. Brown was taken to the hospital in an unconscious condition, rallying only once before his death Saturday morning. Three specialists and a Greencastle physician who attended him held little hope for his recovery from the first. Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Paul Brown of Eaton, and Miss Bernice Brown of Cleveland, Ohio and three brothers, Lynn and Cecil of this city and Carroll of Chicago.
