BROWN -- (Mrs. HC - 1886) - Putnam

Death -  Brown, Jan 8th, 1886 – Mrs. HC Brown at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Husher. Dr. Cissel preached the funeral sermon at College Avenue on Sunday and the remains were taken to Terre Haute the following day for burial. Mrs. Brown lacked but ten days of being 82 years old and had been almost helpless several years. The tender ministrations of her daughter during this time, contributed as far as human aid could to make the close of her life peaceful, comfortable and happy. She had been a member of the ME Church for 70 years. - kbz
