Isaac Brown, a railroader, whose home is at Russellville, met a violent death at that place Monday. He had been taking a vacation there for several weeks and was just departing to resume his work on the road. In attempting to board ID&W Freight as it was leaving the station he was thrown uner the cars. One leg was cut off and the unfortunate man sustained other injuries which resulted in death a few hours later. Mr. Brown was about 38 years of age and unmarried. He was a brother of Mrs. Alex Scott, of Ladoga and uncle of Claude Harris employed in the Elston Bank --- transcribed by kbz
