Columbus Brown, formerly a well known figure on our streets, died at his home in Browns Valley on Saturday evening about half past six. Death resulted from heart trouble. He lived for many years at Browns Valley just south of the railroad station in a house that burned a few years ago. He had charge of Dr. Laughlin's farm for a number of years. He is survived by the wife, two daughters and one son. Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning. Burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. - kbz
