Mrs. Olive B. Broach, 73, died at Culver Hospital at 6:30 p.m. Monday. She had been in failing health for 3 years and had been a patient at the hospital since June 24. Mrs. Broach who lived at 1107 Tuttle Ave, was born in Crawfordsville on November 16, 1889. She was the daughter of Marion and Rosebelle Plunkett . She married William C. Broach Jan 16, 1911. Mr. Broach who had been a park policeman here, died Dec 16, 1960. Except for 14 years during which the couple lived in North Salem, Mrs. Broach had spent her entire life in Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a son, William J. Broach, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Barnhart, Rockville and Mrs. Everett Bales, Cloverdale; one brother, Claude Campbell, Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Brann, Romney and Mrs. Pearl Shafer, who lives in Oregon; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, two brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. OK Malone at Bright Funeral Home Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Wednesday.
