BRITTON, Guy - Putnam

Funeral services were held at the Chastain funeral home here Sunday afternoon for Guy Britton, 51, a former Roachdale resident, who died Friday morning, October 9, at Methodist hospital in Indianapolis after a short illness. Mr. Britton was born near here November 9, 1891, the son of Omer and Ida Britton. He had been employed in Indianapolis. Surviving are the mother, two daughters; Mrs. Mary Powers of Indianapolis, Mrs. Carolyn Woodard of Lebanon, one granddaughter and one great-grandson. Burial was made in Roachdale cemetery. Britton, James Robert 12/9/1937 James Robert Britton, 77, died Sunday morning at his home here. funeral services were held Tuesday at Chastain funeral home, with burial in Roachdale cemetery. Born March 27, 1860 near here the son of John and Melinda Edwards Britton. On March 26, 1884, he married Flora Ann Kent who died March 21, 1937.
