Mrs. Flora Ann Britton, 64, died at her home in Roachdale Sunday afternoon. She was born in Putnam County May 26, 1862, the daughter of Anderson and Mary Ann Kent. She married J.R. Britton at her home. Survivors are one son, Carl Britton at home and one brother John Kent of near Roachdale. --- typed by kbz

Mrs. Robert Britton, 64, died at her home here Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Britton was born in Putnam County, May 26, 1862, the daughter of Anderson P. and Mary Ann Kent. She married J. Robert Britton March 28, 1884. She was the twelfth of thirteen children, eight girls and five boys. Surviving are the husband; one son, Carl and one brother John Kent all of Roachdale, all others preceded her in death. funeral services was held Tuesday afternoon at Chastain funeral home.
