John T. BRIDGES, 79 died at his home near Fincastle July 23. He was the son of Robert L. and Catherine Bridges. He was born in Putnam County where he spent his entire life. Surviving are the widow, one daughter, Mrs. Chasie Myers of Ladoga, a sister Mrs. Bettie Cooper, two grandchildren Howard Myers of Fincastle and Madonna Barnes of Jeffersonville, two great grandchildren, Sarah and Janet Myers. Burial in Brick Chapel.

– Funeral services for John T. Bridges, age 79 were held at the Fincastle
Universalist Church Monday afternoon with burial in the Brick Chapel cemetery.
The widow, a daughter, a sister, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren
survive.
