BRIDGES, Jane - Putnam

Carpentersville, Ind April 18 – Mrs. Jane Bridges died here last evening of the infirmities of age. She was 100 years 7 months old. Mrs. Bridge was born in Fleming County, Kentucky in September 1799. She came to this state more than 50 years ago with a family of five children, three of whom survive her. She leaves one brother, three sons, 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Mrs. Bridges was a member of the Presbyterian Church and lived a consistent Christian life. - -kbz
