BRIDGES, Charles F - Vet - Korea - Putnam

The Defense Department announced today that another Indiana man had been wounded in Korea. Cpl. Charles F. Bridges, brother of Jack Bridges, Cloverdale.

Charles F. Bridges, 65, Indianapolis died Thursday. He was a form lift operator for Allison Transmission, retiring in 1984.  He was a Korean War Army veteran.  Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with calling from 4-8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Cloverdale Cemetery. Survivors: wife Colleen Herbert Bridges; daughter Charlele Sparks; brother James L.
