BREIDERICK, Augusta - Putnam

A German girl Augusta Breiderick, died in Greencastle on the 18th. Her death is supposed to have been caused at least in part from an infamous attack by three scamps, named VanCleave, Maher and Beasley. Though roughly handled, she escaped them at the time. But the fright and injury may have caused her death. The rhtians will be brought to account by the grand jury.
