Emma Snider Branson – The lifeless body of Mrs. Emma Elizabeth Branson, 54 was found last evening at 5:30 o’clock by her husband, Samuel W Branson at their home, 322 W 12th St. Branson who is employed by JH Bloom, contractor had just returned from his day’s labor and had entered the kitchen to turn on the light when he found the body of his wife. She had been at work in the kitchen and according to the finding of Dr. Frank Downing, county coroner had suddenly dropped dead from heart disease. Mrs. Branson was last seen alive by neighbors at 2 o’clock and she must have died soon after that time as Coroner Downing stated that she had been dead at least three hours. Mrs. Branson is survived by the husband, two sons, Lee of Muncie and Lester of Dayton, Ohio and three brothers, Ernest Snyder of Muncie, Clarence Snyder of Oklahoma and Lincoln Snyder of Greencastle, Ind. The funeral arrangements will be made upon the arrival of the son, Lester from Dayton. Born Greencastle May 1863 died Muncie 14 Nov 1917.
