BRANDT, Charles Wm. Sr - Putnam

Charles William Brandt, Sr, 79, Cloverdale, formerly of Indianapolis, died Thursday. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Debaun Funeral Home, Terre Haute, with calling from 11 a.m. until services. Also, there will be calling from 1 – 9 p.m. today at Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel. He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Indianapolis. He was an Army veteran of WWII. Mr. Brandt had worked in the purchasing department of Allison Transmission Division of General Motors Corp for 20 years, retiring in 1971.  He was the widower of Princena DeVere Brandt.  Survivors: son, Charles W. Brandt, Jr; brother, Harold W. Brandt; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren. - kbz
