BOSWELL, George -1902 - Putnam

Greencastle, Sept 16 – George Boswell was shot and instantly killed yesterday by Zack Smithson in the home of the latter, which is in the western edge of this county and immediately after the killing Smithson drove his family from the house and left. Both had married children and were farmers. The murdered man had been working for Smithson and there is no cause reported for the killing. Boswell was struck in the head and died instantly. – kbz
