BLAKE, Mary - 1936 - Putnam

Mrs. Mary Blake, age 86 years a former resident of Greencastle died Tuesday evening at 8:30 o’clock at the home of a son William Blake at 3430 North Salem Street, Indianapolis following an extended illness.  The deceased was well known in Greencastle having spent most of her life in Putnam County. She had been making her home with her son for about a year. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gene Hamrick of Pasadena, Calif; two sons, William of Indianapolis and George Blake of Brazil. A sister, Mrs. John Reynolds of Greencastle also survives. The body was brought to the McCurry funeral home where funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 o’clock. The WRC will have charge of the services. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. - kbz
