BLACKWELL, Sarah Tucker - Putnam

Indianapolis, April 15 – Funeral arrangements were being made her today for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Blackwell, 69, widow of the Rev. Jacob Franklin Blackwell, Methodist Episcopal minister who formerly held several pastorates in the vicinity of Greencastle and Crawfordsville. Mrs. Blackwell died at the home of a son, William Blackwell, here last night following a stroke of paralysis. Her father, Captain Stephen Tucker of the US Army was killed in the battle of Chattanooga, Tenn during the Civil War.  – kbz
