Death loves a shining mark. Died, in this city on Wednesday Nov 30, 1881, at the family residence, in this city, Maggie Matson, wife of Columbus R. Black of lung disease after a long continued sickness. Deceased was an estimable lady, kindly in disposition, a sincere Christian, social, highly educated and refined, a good mother, a loving wife and sister. We extend sympathy to the bereaved family, relatives and friends. The funeral took place from the family residence yesterday at 2:30 p.m. and was very largely attended. - kbz
