Robert R. Bittle, age 89 of Port Charlotte, FL formerly of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 1998. Born August 25, 1908 in Greencastle, Indiana. He was a Maintenance Supervisor at an Air Force Base. Survived by his daughter, Barbara A. Bittle of Port Charlotte, Fl; sisters, Edith Wright, F. Jean Rapp, both of Dayton, Ohio, Marian Giddings of Greencastle, IN.  Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Monday June 1, 1998 at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda, FL.
