Reelsville – Services for James O. Best, 72, RR 1 who died at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday in Clay County Hospitals, Brazill will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Miller and son Funeral Home, Brazil with Rev. Richard I. West officiating. Burial will be in Boone-Hutcherson Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday. He was a member of the Jackson Street Wesleyan Church and 25-year club of Lone Star Cement Co. Surviving are the widow, Mary; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Megenhardt, RR 2, Centerpoint; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty Price, Farmersburg; three brothers, Simpson, RR 1, Reelsville, Claude, RR 2, Poland and Norman, RR 3, Greencastle; a stepbrother, William Walker, Taylor, Mich, a grandchildren, 9 stepgrandchildren and six great step grandchildren. – kbz
