BENCE, Libbie - Putnam

Died in this city on Saturday Nov 12 of consumption, Libbie, wife of George W. Bence, aged 29 years. The remains were interred at Forest Hill Cemetery on Monday afternoon, the funeral services being held at St. Paul’s Church and attended by a very large concourse of relatives and friends. Mrs. Bence was a lady greatly beloved by all who knew her, because of her gentle, lady-like and social qualities, as well as her nobility of character and benevolent, charitable disposition. The sympathies of our people are with the bereaved husband, the motherless child and mourning relatives. - kbz
