BEERY, Perry - Putnam

Modesto Office Stockton Record, Dec 20 – Funeral services will be held at the Los Banos funeral parlors, Los Banos, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock for the Rev. PH Beery, 68 of this city who died at Los Banos at the home of his son, Clarence Beery yesterday.  Rev. Beery was an active worker in the Church of the Brethren, and assisted in the colonization of Empire, Stanislaus County in 1908 as a church colony.  Deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Kate Beery, two sons, Wilbur Beery of Salinas and Clarence Beery of Los Banos, and two daughters, Dr. Gene Tornquist of Chicago and Dr. Helen Holsinger of New York City.
