BEE, Merle - Putnam

In loving remembrance of our son and brother, Merle H. Bee, who passed away 2 years ago tomorrow, July 4, 1922. In the grave softly sleeping – where the flowers gently wave – lies the one we love so dearly – but whom we could not save – and when the evening winds – are blowing and the darkness – is drawing near – we miss his coming footsteps – we miss him everywhere – he shall never be forgotten – never shall his memory fade – sweetest thought will always linger – around the grave where he is laid.
