BECKLEHIMER, William - Putnam

William T. Becklehimer, a former resident of the Barnard neighborhood, died at the home of his son Fred in Indianapolis Tuesday afternoon after a brief illness. Death was caused by paralysis. Mr. Beckelhimer was born near Barnard July 30, 1876. He was a member of the Barnard Baptist church. Mr. Becklehimer was married in 1897 to Retta Todd who died in 1928. Survivors include three daughters; Mrs. Velia Sunderland of near Mooresville, Mrs. Clara Ware of Indianapolis and Mrs. Bertha Wright of Lebanon; two sons; John of New Ross and Fred of Indianapolis, at whose home he died; one half-brother John Beckelhimer of Jamestown and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Chastain funeral home here Friday afternoon.
