BECK, Charles W. - Putnam

Charles W. Beck, age 86 died Friday at the home of his son, Fred Beck at Bainbridge.  The deceased was a resident of North Salem and as both Mr. and Mrs. Beck have been in ill health all winter, he was taken to the home of his son two weeks ago.  Death was caused by __ and complications.  He was born in Boone County Dec 25, 1860.  He was married to Nancy E. Evans, Nov 25, 1882 who died in 1928.  Following his marriage to Mrs. Mary Robbins in 1931 he moved to North Salem.  Surviving are the widow; two sons, Fred and Carl Beck, both of Bainbridge; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at two o’clock, the Bainbridge Methodist Church of which he was a member.     Interment in the Bainbridge cemetery.    ~~~transcribed by kbz
