BATMAN, Lucinda - Putnam

Miss Lucinda Ann Batman, 80, a lifelong resident of this community died at her home just south of here late Wednesday afternoon after an illness of only five days. Death was attributed to a heart ailment. Miss Batman was a daughter of Thomas W. and Martha Anderson Batman and was born May 31, 1858 on a farm near here. She spent practically her entire life in this community. Survivors include three brothers; Oscar and Jesse Batman of near here, and Asa Batman of Zionsville. Two sisters preceded her in death. funeral services will be held at the Chastain funeral home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. C.L. Airhart of New Market in charge.
