Greencastle, Ind – Services for Ward K. Bartlett, 78, retired newspaper publisher and editor will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Whitaker Funeral Home. Bartlett died Sunday in his home. After graduating from Wabash College, he taught at Thorntown, Linden and Greenwood. He was editor-publisher of the Newton County Enterprise at Kentland and later was editor of the Putnam County Graphic. Bartlett was a former VP of the Hoosier Press Association and director of the Republican Editorial Association. He was a member of Gobin United Methodist Church, Greencastle; Kentland Masonic Lodge; Scottish Rite at Indianapolis and a charter member and past president of Kentland Rotary Club. Bartlett was a WWI veteran. Survivors – wife Jeannetta; daughter Sue Davis; stepdaughter Mary Ann Trapp; stepson Robert Bills. - kbz
