BARTHOLOMEW, Carol - Putnam

Mrs. Carol Bartholomew, 75, Roachdale died Friday night at the NHE Nursing Home in Danville, where she had been a patient for two days.  Mrs. Bartholomew was a member of the Universalist Church in Fincastle and the Roachdale Social Club.  Born Nov 14, 1900 near Roachdale, she was the daughter of DM and Grace Summers Wright. She was married to Thomas Bartholomew on Sept 5, 1922. He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jean Hill of Roachdale and Mrs. Shirley Sweeney of Indianapolis; 8 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Perkins Funeral Home in Roachdale.
