BARR, Edward - Putnam

Edward W. Barr, 63, Fishers formerly of Greencastle, died April 13. He was an administrative assistant for IBM 30 years in Greencastle and six years in Mechanicsburg, PA retiring in 1991.  Mr. Barr was an Army veteran.  He was a member of Stony Creek Golf Club in Fisher and Pride of Indy Barbershop Chorus. Graveside services: 1 p.m. April 15 in Portland Mills Cemetery. Memorial services: 2 p.m. April 16 in New Hope Presbyterian Church, Fishers of which he was a member. Calling: None. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ed Barr Memorial Fund in care of the church.  Survivors: wife Janet Spencer Barr.  Children: Steven S. Barr, Teresa L. Bitzer, sisters Mary Ruth Jones, Anita McEnulty; two grandchildren. Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle is in charge of arrangements. - kbz
