BARNARD, Nancy - Putnam

Mrs. Nancy A. Barnard, 83, died at her home in Roachdale at 8 o’clock Friday night, a victim of complications and infirmities of age.  She was born in Putnam County and spent most of her life here. She was the wife of William Barnard who died in 1896.  Mrs. Barnard belonged to the Bethel Christian Church.  She is survived by seven children: James; William; Mrs. William Kuser; Mrs. John Kent all of near Roachdale; Mrs. Oscar Kent of near Russellville and Mrs. Jane lafoe and Mrs. Ollie Robbins of Roachdale. Two children died in early life. The funeral was held from the home at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon with burial in the Barnard cemetery. - kbz
