BALDWIN, Anna Wright - Putnam

Mrs. Anna M. Baldwin, 311 S. Cherry St, widow of Lewis A. Baldwin advertising manager for The Muncie Star for many years, died at Ball Hospital Friday following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Meeks Mortuary with Dr. Harold D. Neel, pastor of the High Street Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove cemetery at 10 a.m. Monday. Friends may call at the mortuary after 3 p.m. Saturday and before the time of service Sunday.  Mrs. Baldwin, a native of Greencastle, had been a resident of Muncie most of her life, moving here with her parents, Martin and Elizabeth (Vice) Wright when a child.  She was a graduate of Central HS and member of the High Street Methodist Church, the Riverside Culture Club and New Idea Club.  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charles Stock, Maquoketqa, Iowa; a sister, Miss Alice Wright, Muncie; a brother, Wilbur M. Wright, El Cajan, Calif; two grandchildren Mrs. John Payne, Indianapolis and Phillip Winans, Columbus, Ohio and six great grandchildren. – kbz
