AUSTIN, Mary D. Mikesell Miles - Putnam

Russellville - Mary D. Austin, 74 of Russellville died Saturday in Home Hospital at Lafayette. She was a member of Waveland Baptist Church. She was born Aug 16, 1904 a daughter of Joe and Rosie Stewart Mikesell. She was married to Warren Miles who preceded her in death. She was then married to Addison Austin who died in 1969. Surviving are 3 daughters: Mrs. Carolyn Stroup, Mrs. Bertha Gray, both of Florida and Mrs. Helen Higgins of Russellville; two brothers-in-law, Ernest Mikesell and I. Mikesell both of Shannondale, a half sister, Mrs. G. Dodd of Wisconsin, 3 stepchildren, Frank Austin, Mrs. Loraine Page and Mrs. Naomi Svetic; 10 grandchildren 12 greats. She was preceded in death by a brother Loren Austin. Services will be at 10;30 a.m. Tuesday in McGaughey Funeral Home in Russellville with Rev. Eldon ? officiating. Burial in Old Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
