Jck O. Asher, 72, Fillmore, died Nov 15, 2003. He retired from the Indiana State Police in 1978, after 21 years of service. He retired from Security at Allison Division of General Motors in 1993. He was a member of the Gosport Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.. Wednesday Nov 19 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Gosport, with calling form 4-8 p.m. Tuesday Nov 18. Burial: Gosport Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Whitaker Asher; mother Juanita Carruthers Asher, Greencastle; son Jack J. Asher, New Palestine; daughters, Brenda Brown and Patty Kemper of Indianapolis; sisters, Jane Stouder, Ellettsville and Joy Lynn Marley of Greencastle; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchldren.
