ARNOLD, Nellie Rice - Putnam

LADOGA -- Mrs. Nellie Rice Arnold, a life-long resident of Ladoga and a member of the Methodist Church here, died at 2 p. m. Wednesday at her residence. She had been ill the past five days. The daughter of E. J. and Effie Rice, she was born Jan. 12, 1894 at Portland Mills. She was married to Homer Arnold who preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Frances Willis of Hillsboro, Mrs. Pearl Lewellyn of New Market and Mrs. Betty Cronk of Crawfordsville; three sons, Homer David and Harry Arnold, both of Ladoga and Everett Arnold in the service in Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Brady of Lafayette and Mrs. Leona Davis of Indianapolis and two brothers, Charles Rice of Lafayette and Leon Rice of Denver, Colo. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p. m. in the Cox Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
