ARNOLD, Jesse "Fox" - Putnam

Jesse “Fox” Arnold, 85-year-old Cloverdale resident died Wednesday at Putnam County Hospital.  The retired Monon employee was a former Quincy resident. He was born in Hancock County April 1, 1892 son of Thomas and Emma Thornton Arnold. His wife Grace Taylor Arnold, whom he married in 1913 died in October 1973. Survivors are daughters Josephine Allee and Maxine McCullough of Cloverdale, Evelyn Thomas of Fillmore and Marjorie Black of Gosport Route 1; son Leland of Cloverdale; 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale Saturday at 2.  Calling hours begin Friday at 2.  Burial will be in Mannan Cemetery.
