Dr. TL Armstrong, the well known veterinary surgeon who has lived at Greenwood for a number of years died Wednesday of last week at a hospital in Indiana Territory. One week previous he and Mrs. Armstrong (note obviously a second marriage as Mary Fyffe died in 1884) left for Ft Worth, Texas to spend the winter as he had been their custom for years on account of Dr. Armstrong’s health. He became seriously ill soon after starting and was compelled to go to the hospital. The remains were brought back to Greenwood Friday morning where funeral services were held. Dr. Armstrong had been in poor health for several years. He was 60 years of age. His wife and one daughter who lives in Chicago survive him (Josephine Binyon). For some time he has been an inspector in the stockyards at Indianapolis. During the winters spent at Ft Worth he had a similar government position there. About 5 years ago he spent the great part of three months in Franklin. Buried with first wife in Forest Hill, Greencastle
