Thomas T. APPLE was born in Putnam County, Oct 18, 1855 and died in Crawfordsville April 10, 1917, aged 61 years, 5 months and 23 days. At the age of 23 he married Miss Jennie STAKE at Crawfordsville and to this union were born eight children, six of whom are living, William, Rollie, Clifford, Mrs. Sadie ELLINGTON, Bessie and Jessie. Besides these children and the widow remain to mourn their loss, three brothers, John APPLE of Boone County; Kinzie and Asa of Lebanon; three sisters, Mrs. Alice MCKAY of Smartsburg; Mrs. Barbara PORTER of Putnam County, and Mrs. Cordy DOWDEN of Boone County; five grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Mr. APPLE spent most of his life in Crawfordsville, being employed in the match factory for eleven years and the ice plant for nine years. He will be greatly missed not only by his relatives but by his many friends.
