ALSIP, Stanley Eugene - Putnam

Services for Stanley Eugene Alsip, 13, of Rt. 7, Crawfordsville, were held Thursday, Sept. 2 in Fremont Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Aldrich officiating. Burial was in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.

He had attended Faith Christian Academy School and was a member of the Fremont Baptist Church.

Born at Greencastle on Jan. 21, 1963, a son of Gene Alsip and Myrtle Snodgrass Davis. Surviving are his parents, Gene Alsip of Corbin, Ky., and Myrtle Davis of Rt. 7, his stepfather, George Davis of Rt. 7; three brothers, Charles Earl of Rt. 7, and Kenneth Lee and Danny Ray of Rt. 2, Corbin; a sister, Mrs. Donna Jean Brock of San Diego, Calif.; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Snodgrass of Greencastle, Myrtle Alsip of Corbin and Ollie and Mary Davis of Ladoga. -- WAW
